Merry Christmas: Rejoicing in the Gift of Our Savior
As we celebrate this beautiful Christmas Day, I want to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas! Today is more than lights, songs, and gifts. It’s a celebration of the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ, our Savior.
In the quiet town of Bethlehem, God stepped into the world, not as a warrior or king, but as a baby wrapped in cloth and laid in a manger. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). That one verse holds the weight of eternity. God didn’t wait for us to reach Him. He came down to us.
There is no greater joy than serving a Savior who first served us, who left heaven, humbled Himself, and gave His life for ours. “The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). His love is not distant or cold — it is personal, sacrificial, and full of mercy.
So today, as we gather with family or sit quietly alone, remember this truth: Jesus came for you. The manger is not just a sweet story, it’s the starting point of your redemption. We are blessed beyond words to follow a Savior who knows our pain, carries our burdens, and promises us eternal life.
From my heart to yours, Merry Christmas. May the peace of Christ fill your home and the joy of His coming never leave your heart.
